Our Process

Initial Inspection

01

Site Visit

A typical site visit starts with a full exterior and interior inspection to identify the root cause of the problem, not just the symptoms. We’ll walk the property with the homeowner, looking at grading, downspouts, drainage patterns, and any areas where water may be collecting near the foundation. Inside, we check for wall cracks, bowing, moisture intrusion, humidity levels, and signs of hydrostatic pressure like staining or efflorescence. Measurements are taken where needed (such as wall deflection), and we may use moisture meters to confirm active issues. From there, we explain our findings in plain terms, outline recommended repair options, and answer any questions so the homeowner understands exactly what’s going on and how to fix it the right way.

02

Estimating and Budgeting

Estimating begins after the site visit, where we take the information gathered and build a clear, detailed scope of work tailored to the home’s specific issues. We factor in things like the extent of cracking or wall movement, the amount of excavation required, drainage needs, access to the work area, and any obstacles that could affect labor or materials. Each estimate is broken down so the homeowner understands exactly what’s included—no vague numbers or surprises later. We also review different repair options when applicable, explaining the pros, cons, and long-term value of each. The goal is to provide an accurate, transparent price that reflects a permanent solution, not a temporary fix.

03

Schedule Project

Scheduling begins once the estimate is approved, with a focus on setting clear expectations and minimizing disruption to the homeowner’s routine. We coordinate start dates based on crew availability, project scope, and weather conditions, since factors like rain can impact excavation and waterproofing work. Before the job begins, we confirm access to the work areas, discuss any preparations needed, and provide a general timeline for completion. Throughout the process, we stay in communication if anything needs to be adjusted, ensuring the project stays on track. The goal is a smooth, well-organized schedule that gets the work done efficiently without sacrificing quality.

Installation

01

Job Supervision

Job supervision ensures the project is executed exactly as planned, with consistent oversight from start to finish. A supervisor or project manager is on-site to coordinate the crew, verify that all work meets company standards, and make sure materials and installation methods are correct for the specific conditions. They monitor key details like excavation depth, drainage placement, crack repair, and structural reinforcement to ensure nothing is overlooked. The supervisor also serves as the main point of contact for the homeowner, providing updates and addressing any questions along the way. The goal is to maintain quality control, keep the job running efficiently, and deliver a finished result that meets both structural and waterproofing expectations.

02

Job Inspection

Job inspection takes place once the work is completed to ensure everything meets quality standards and performs as intended. We conduct a final walkthrough of both the interior and exterior, checking that all waterproofing components, drainage systems, and structural repairs were installed correctly and according to plan. This includes verifying proper backfill and grading, confirming discharge lines are functioning, and inspecting any crack repairs or reinforcement systems. We also clean up the job site and make sure the property is left in good condition. Before closing out the project, we review the work with the homeowner, explain what was done, go over any maintenance recommendations, and provide warranty documentation for peace of mind.

03

Clean-up

Clean up is the final step of the project and is taken just as seriously as the work itself. Once installation is complete, all debris, excess materials, and equipment are removed from the site, and the work areas are thoroughly cleaned and organized. Exterior areas are backfilled, graded, and raked smooth, with care taken to restore landscaping as much as possible. Interior spaces are swept and wiped down, leaving the basement or crawl space in a clean, usable condition. The goal is to leave the property looking as close as possible to how it was before the project—just with the problem fully resolved.

Warranty?

Our typical residential waterproofing and foundation repair warranty covers the specific systems or repairs we install—such as interior drainage systems, sump pumps, or wall stabilization—for a defined period, often ranging from 10 years to lifetime coverage depending on the product and scope of work. We guarantee that water intrusion will be controlled in the treated areas, while excluding issues caused by new structural movement, plumbing leaks, or lack of proper homeowner maintenance, such as keeping the sump pump operational. Transferability may be available for a fee, allowing the warranty to pass to a new homeowner and potentially add resale value. Coverage is generally limited to repair or replacement of the installed system anddoes not extend to damage of finished interior spaces.
